LEGOLAND South Korea | AR Planes

Updated: Dec 26, 2023

This blog post exclusively addresses the original version of the application.

Tasked with harnessing the Unity Engine, I took the lead in developing an Augmented Reality application intended as a modular library for seamless integration into another application.

As the primary contributor to this project, my responsibilities encompassed all aspects except design. I focused on constructing the core components of the application and implemented an internal updating service. This service autonomously updated various facets of the application, ensuring users experienced continuous improvements without the need for manual updates.

A key functionality of the AR application involved users scanning QR codes, initiating the appearance of augmented reality objects—specifically planes—within the LEGOLAND South Korea experience. Users could effortlessly switch between these objects, contributing to an interactive and dynamic engagement within the application.
